Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society, established in 1915 by a group of dedicated and zealous people, is one of the oldest and pioneering institutions in the region.
It has always promoted, besides formal education, democratic and secular values. The institute during the ensuing period throve purely on goodwill and affection of the people.

The society owes a profound sense of gratitude to Padmavibhushan Late Shri Govindbhai Shroff under whose judicious leadership it has taken its present shape.
Weathering through all the hostilities during the Nizam's regime,
it proudly brought up a generation of freedom fighters who made significant contributions to the Struggle for Independence.
Quite a few of them have emerged as meaningful personalities during the Hyderabad Mukti Sangram as well as India's struggle for Independence.
Today, the S. B. Education Society stands tall with its glorious rustle of a lofty expanse that places it as one of the oldest and
the most reputed Educational Institutes in Maharashtra.
Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society has flourished into a prestigious institution having 18 schools and 2 colleges educating more than
25,000 students imparting education from the First standard to Ph.D. Degree in different academic disciplines.
The Government of Maharashtra bestowed "The Ideal Institute in the State Award" to the institution in the year 2000.
The society is constantly engaged in bringing out the best in students and in making education relevant to the cotemporary demands.
